What I did when I was home sick…

Nobody likes to be home sick…but I have to say, as a teenager, I would have appreciated wireless Internet to go along with the flat ginger ale my mom used to give me…

I couldn’t do much on Wednesday but sleep and, periodically, surf the Internet. Happily, I found some diverting, yet totally work-related stuff that made me feel like I was still part of the living world.

You might like to check out these links (though I hope you can discover them during a time of wellness!)

The first provides a summary of a rather cool Digital storytelling research project with four-year olds at the University of Southern California.

The second, is a PBS frontline special called Digital Nation. You can watch the whole 90-minute show online or listen to featured interviews with notable top-tier “digital” thinkers -  Gary Small (the neuroscientist), Mark Prensky (of Digital Native fame) and Mark Bauerlein (author of The Dumbest Generation) among them.

    Hope you’re feeling better!
I’ve been meaning to watch the Digital Nation piece, but haven’t had time… not that I’m asking to get sick :)
