Future of Education: Upcoming Schedule

December 17, 2009
By Sara Beauchamp-Hicks

Steve Hargadon from Classroom 2.0  and The Future of Education just posted his upcoming podcast schedule for the new year.  He is going to be interviewing some pretty interesting folks including Sir Ken Robinson, James Paul Gee, Daniel Pink and MSU’s own, Yong Zhao. If you haven’t taken the time to listen in, you really should.  Lots of good conversations and a pretty active chat room.  If you can’t find time to participate live, download the podcast! He also just released a white paper, Educational Networking: The important role Web 2.0 will play in education.  He doesn’t say anything that really hasn’t been said before, however he does introduce Learncentral.org and Elluminate.  There is free access to Elluminate for  K-12 educational purposes, (limited, but still might be a good platform for teachers to try out the technology).

Hi Sara… I’m coming a bit late to this, but thanks so much for sharing. I’m downloading a couple of the interviews as I type.
